MS Symptoms (Whether Anyone Believes It or Not)

I know that everyone gets headaches, constipation and the occasional cough. However, for those of us with multiple sclerosis (MS), these common ailments may be caused (or made worse) by our MS.

If you are bothered by any of these problems, mention them to your neurologist. If he/she seems dismissive, stand your ground and insist on help. We already battle so many little and big problems that we need relief from anything that can be treated - and all of these can.

Thank you. I know it helps me to learn I’m not such a freak of nature. Almost every infection I get ends up in my chest. My husband always fills my Christmas stocking with cough drops and remedies in anticipation of my next hacking cough. I do appreciate receiving your newsletter.

Thank you so much. I had been searching for along time to understand my cough that seems to go on for weeks. I thought it had something to do with MS but couldn’t find a connection. Your article also explained other respiratory symptoms to me.
