My Favorite MS Reference Book

There is one book on my shelf that I find myself referring to pretty frequently. Actually, it's the only book that I really take down and read sections of on a regular basis.

That book is Complementary and Alternative Medicine in Multiple Sclerosis by Allen Bowling. I love how Dr. Bowling presents things in this book. He somehow manages to remain nonjudgmental about any of the CAM modalities, even when he is clearly saying that the approach is either dangerous or bogus.

My neuro recommended that I check out Dr. Bowling’s books when I told her of my interest in CAM approached. I also have Dietary Supplements and Multiple Sclerosis which is super helpful because it indicates whether a supplement interferes with the CRAB drugs.
