Design Your Own Injection Ritual

If you have to give yourself a shot (or have someone give it to you) on a regular basis, a ritual can help ease the pain (pun intended).

Really, give it a try. Design a little "oasis" of pleasant music and scents (or crank up the heavy metal, if that is your thing), to make injection time more bearable. It may even become something you begin to look forward to. (Okay, now I realize that this may be going a little far, but still...)

(1) Mike Dunn says:

I take my Copaxone shot every night at 10:30 because that is when my wife goes to bed. I give myself the shots in the leg. She gives me the shots in the other places. I have a ball obsessed dog that makes me throw her the ball to catch while I am laying down and she is at the foot of the bed. She has a predetermined number of throws, I think it is eight. Then, she stops and goes to get a drink. I then take my shot. How is that for a ritual.
